I saw The Party several times in the past, and for some reason, it has remained a memorable movie.
It was spontaneously different and unusual from what I had been accustomed to. Seeing the film again, the charm still
works although I hate Peter Sellers. He tries to pass himself for an Indian with all the stupid stereotypes. To be
honest, he's good, and most of his antics were improvised during the filming.
All in all, The Party is one of the fewest films that's different and unexpected yet succeeds.
