8/06: I thought, after seeing Cruel, Cruel Love, the improvement would carry over to The Landlady's Pet, but it didn't.

It's an exorbitantly stupid film which is about nothing. Charlie Chaplin was a drunk, an idiot, a whiner, a moron, an infant, a pedophile, and a cheat, yet people liked him and thought he was funny?

All in all, I can swallow a Kodak roll and shit a better picture than The Landlady's Pet.
